The Douglas Fir and Juniper tips, Mountain Yarrow, and Nootka Rose are handpicked from the land surrounding the Chehalis reservation. These locally sourced botanicals are then processed and bottled at Chehalis’ Talking Cedar restaurant; the first tribal-owned distillery in the U.S. and the first on native land since 1834.

Traditionally, the goods graciously provided by the land were carried and stored in handmade baskets made by the tribe out of cedar bark.

This spirit brings together the abundant resources that the area has to offer and the people who have relied on them for generations.
